I bought a lunch box the other day for my youngest son and my oldest inquired where is his own. I did not buy for him because he had one identical to the new one.
Hence I thought that was a good reason not to buy for him.
Below was our conversation.
Son: I want a new lunch box just like my brother
Mum: but you have one already why do you want another one.
Son: mum this lunch box is big and it has an extra little pot that I can pour my syrup or ketchup in anytime I carry pancake or hotdog to school
Mum: what about the other one?
Son: yes Mummy but this new lunch box is different.
In conclusion mum please buy me a new lunch box.
I remember when he was the only one taking lunch to school that lunchbox ticked all the right boxes but now he can do with a little bit more.
The things you prayed for 2 years ago and you thought to yourself if God could just give me this I will not ask for anything else.
One year after, you feel like you could do with more.
Have you ever been there before? What changed?
There is nothing wrong with wanting more, as human beings, we always want more.
My son justification is the extra little pot inside the lunch box.
Apart from the material things we must also desire a growth on our Christian journey.
When last did God speak to you? Are you still speaking in the same tongues as last year?
How is your prayer life?
Our spiritual life should not be the same as it was last year. The same way you hunger to upgrade material things You walk with God as well must be on another level.
The Bible says “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Matthew 6:33 NKJV
What do you hunger for?
My prayer is that the lord almighty will help each and everyone on our Christian journey.

My shoelace untied itself as I was walking to drop off my children this morning.
I was so vastly in a hurry I went on walking and said to myself that I would fix it later.
I could not walk fast as I would like to because I was so worried that I would step on the lace and fall over.
The question I asked myself was why I did not stop to tie the lace as soon as I noticed it and therefore go on with my journey in peace.
In other words, I realized that I gave in to the do it later mode.
Are you guilty of doing the I deal with it later? or is it just me?.
Life is a beautiful journey and I am work in progress.
Have you ever been in a circumstance where instead of handling the matter right there you shoved it to later?
I can’t count how many times I have been faced with such situations.
If I had resisted and taken my time to tie the loose lace I would not be bothering about tripping over.
Not doing the right thing at the proper time can lead to so many other things that can be avoidable in the first place.
I pray that the Lord will help us to do the right thing at the right time.
If you are currently dealing with such at the moment I pray that all will be well with you in Jesus name Amen.
The Bible says ” There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven Ecclesiastes 3 vs 1 NIV.
In conclusion do what is required as when due.

Breakfast as we all know that it is the most important meal of the day.
Therefore, have you had your breakfast?
I just did mine was Weetabix with milk and a few slices in of Apple ( trying to eat healthy). In other words It tastes so delicious ?.
However, as breakfast is essential so is your prayer life. Don’t go a day without communicating with your father.
How many of us will like it if our children, for instance, don’t communicate with us? They have to communicate because as parents we just have to hear from them.
Your heavenly Father will like to hear from you as well.
As a child of God you have pray.
When last did you pray?
The Bible says “pray without ceasing,”
I Thessalonians 5:17 NKJV
It’s not just about praying for yourself as everything around’s us demand our prayer.
For instance our nations, people you know that need help and you cannot physically help but your prayer can do wonders for them.
Have you prayed for your nation lately? Or do you think that it doesn’t concern you and just concentrate on yourself.
It does concern you because you live there So please pray for your nation.
I encourage you today, to cultivate the time to pray daily. I pray that the Lord Almighty will help you in Jesus name Amen.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;”
Philippians 4:6 NKJV

When you think deep down your heart, there is something you must be thankful for.
If nothing, sleeping and waking up each morning is not by our doing it is only by the grace of God, that only is enough to be grateful.
Not all our desires have been granted, but one thing is sure God has been faithful.
You might not be where you want to be but you are not where you use to be, that enough tells you that you are on way.
We are all work in progress.
Be grateful for all that you have and thankful for that which is on the way.
“Bless Affectionately, grateful praise) the Lord. O my soul and all that is deepest within me, bless his holy name”. “Bless AFFECTIONATELY, grateful praise) the Lord oh my soul and forget not [one of] all his benefit” (psalm 103 vs 1&2 AMPC).

Happy birthday to me. I was conversing with one of my friends yesterday’s as it was her hubby’s birthday and I caught up on where we left it the last time we communicated and the explanation was God has been faithful.
It’s funny how we worry about the issues then and now they are things of the past. After our conversation Joy-filled my spirit for all the good news she communicated with me, it is absolutely a great testimony.
I am thankful for my path as well, I will not be here if God has not kept me. Through it all I have learnt to trust in Jesus and hold on his word. Even in my unfaithfulness God has been faithful.
