I was asking my children last night before bedtime how are they doing and their response was we are fine.
In their mind they were wondering why I was asking them the question because we are home together and I know all of what they have been engaging in during the day.
Yes I knew what they did all day but I still need to hear from them if there was anything they would like to discuss with me.
My eldest asked me mummy is there any reason why you asked the question? and I responded that if you were going into school won’t I ask you how your day went? He said yes so why can’t I ask now.
I reminded them that I am their mother and it is my duty of care to ask and know what is going on with them.
This conversation with my children reminded me of our heavenly father, how he cares so much about the tiniest details of lives and above all in everything that we should prosper and be in health (3 John 1 vs 2)
Blessed be the lord, who bears our burden day by day, The God who is our salvation! Selah ( Psalm 68 vs 19 AMP).
Do not for one day think that God does not care about you, another translation of the above verse reads who daily loads us with benefits, what a good God He is.
God cares about you and I and he can never stop caring for us because it is in his nature to look out for his children.
This I have to remind my children this evening also remind myself that I have a God who really cares about me.

How often do you u get offended? As mortal being is offence avoidable?
Numerous occasions can permit it to happen because we are constantly engaging with people.
I recall years ago when my friend got married and I did not get invited.I could not get it out of my mind because I was actually looking forward to going.
Guess what? I was offended. Why? because we have a good relationship and could at least informed me.
The explanation was they did a small party and did not want to bother me. Offence can rob you of your peace of mind, ask yourself is it worth it?
If you are on this table of offence then you know what I am talking about.
`How do you heal from offence? I take it to God in prayer and ask him to help me forgive the person.
Because that’s the only way I can move on and let go.
So far so good, it is working I am not there yet but I trust God to perfect all that concerns me.
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity!”

My Children and I drafted a meal plan during this new lockdown and that has helped me to cater for their craving demands. I was not sure if it will work as they both eat different meals but it’s working!
My youngest is a fussy eater and will only eat the meals he likes so there is always a repetition of cooking the same meals all the time but my oldest is happy to mix match his meals so there is always a conflict.
I have managed it over the years by cooking two separate meals in other to keep them happy but with this new lockdown it is not going to be possible.
I suggested the idea and they were both happy for us to put together a plan and so we did.
Have you written down your Guide/Goals for the year 2021?
2020 has taught us so many lessons and am sure you know someone who started a new business last year, or grew their business.
The meal plan will help with the day to day food preparation and if at all we want to have a take away one day, the missed meal can be carried over for another day.
In as much as you have written down your goals it is very important to seek the face of God so that everything will be in alignment according to God’s plans for your life.
”Many plans are in the man’s mind, But it is the lord’s purpose for him that will stand (be carried out) (Provs 19 vs 21 AMP).
I did not create the meals plan without the consent of my children because i knew it might not work and to avoid any disappointments we did it as a team.This year don’t make a decision without God’s counsel.
Commit all your plans into his hands and He will make it to come pass.
