Grief
Yesterday was my late brother’s birthday and it was such a moment of silence for me because i could not stop thinking about him. Different thoughts of if he was here how we will be celebrating as a family.
Just a think back of what life would have been if he was with us but the truth is he is not here and nothing can bring him back. The only assurance we have is that he is in a good place with his heavenly father.
Some things we don’t understand but God does and only him can comfort in time of grief. I don’t know maybe you have lost someone due to the recent pandemic or not and you are currently griefing. I pray that God will comfort you and your family at this time.
The way we all grief is different, however we need the grace of God to help us to heal gradually as we get on with life. if you have ever experienced the death of a loved one you will see life from a different lens.
The question is are you heaven ready? if Jesus appears today have you lived your life so well that you will resurrect with him or you are not sure.
The bible says And it is appointed for men to die once but after this the judgement (Hebrews 9 :27 NKJV) .When we are gone there is no room for repentance.
Now that you have the chance make most of it living your life heaven ready. If you don’t know Jesus as your lord and saviour now is the time to accept him.
Say this prayer with me ‘Heavenly father I surrender my life to you, forgive me of all my sins, teach me to live a life that will glorify your name and help me to know you daily, take over my life oh lord now and forever more in Jesus name Amen.
Congratulations, you have made the right the decision. Please do look for a bible believing church around you to fellowship.
Let’s continue to live our ready in obedient to God’s word.
