Someone asked the question am I ugly earlier this morning during a conversation and I just could not get my mind off why the individual mentioned it.
Circumstances occasionally gets us to think about the worst of ourselves Which means justifying every thought that comes through our mind
Have you been in such conditions and even think the reason why the other person is always put together is because they are better than you.
Stop it now as it is a lie of the enemy. Yes, the situation happened but doesn’t mean that it is the end of the world and also doesn’t mean that you should think or say wrong things about yourself.
There is power in your tongue and whatever perceptions you already have bottled up in your mind will always be acceptable reason to justify every bad thing that happen to you.
I have learnt a very long while ago, not to dwell and attach on to the things of the past as they should remain in the past however it is important to get healed from the past so that I can forge ahead to the future.
The Bible says “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
If God’s thoughts towards me is good then why do I have to think bad thoughts about myself.
When those emotions pops up remember the word of God towards you can never change so instead of dwelling on the past hold on to God’s word.
Remain Blessed
