Whenever I’m going into the office, I prepare everything the night before so I won’t have to rush in the morning. But this morning, at 7:04, I was still changing my shoes and making coffee, while hoping to catch the 7:15 train.
I told my hubby I’d catch the next train at 7:45. He was surprised and mentioned that it was because I wanted to make a coffee—and it was already 7:06! (it is what it is🙈).
We got into the car, and I checked the train schedule. To my surprise, the train was delayed by just one minute. That didn’t seem like much time for someone who hadn’t bought a ticket yet. Then the car in front of us started driving so slowly. And guess where they were going? The station!
Imagine how I felt—I was grumbling and murmuring the whole way. We had no choice but to drive behind them. (The fruit of the Spirit—patience—was definitely being tested 😊)
Little did I know, ABBA had me covered 💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿
That one-minute delay made all the difference. I left home at 7:06, arrived at the station at 7:15, bought my ticket, and made it onto the train with just one minute and thirty seconds to spare!
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
Romans 8:28 NLT
I’m grateful I left home prepared, with everything I needed for the day, instead of having to figure it all out after I got to work.
In the end, this is a reminder that:
God cares about you and the desires of your heart, as long as they align with His will for your life.
And one minute definitely counts ……
He’s got you covered, always. ❤️
