Have you ever been so excited about going somewhere that you start counting down the days?

One, two, three, four… checking the clock and wondering, “Can time go any faster?” 🙈

Your clothes are ironed, everything you need is packed, and you’re all set—just waiting for the day to come.

That’s surely how the psalmist felt when he wrote in Psalm 122:1, “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord!’”

Are you always glad to go to the house of the Lord, or has it become just a routine—a way to fulfil an obligation and mark the attendance register?

Never come before your Heavenly Father casually. Come with a heart full of expectation. He is a good Father, and He has prepared the very best for His children.
